Led by founder Julia Pimsleur, Little Pim was born out of her commitment to providing her son with the same bilingual upbringing she had. Drawing from her expertise as a filmmaker, language teacher, and mother, Julia collaborated with neuroscientist Dr. April Benasich, educators, and native language experts over several years to formulate a program that would entertain and educate young children in a foreign language.

Little Pim’s program supports foreign language learning, which multiple studies suggest enhances memory, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills. The curriculum aids children in acquiring a new vocabulary and developing a near-native accent.
